Overview

The suitable candidate will work closely with The Company's Rental Manager and assist her on a daily basis.

Requirements
  • 3 – 4 years’ experience in the rental property industry
  • Ability to work in the following but not limited to: MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of Sage Accounting (Not necessary, but highly beneficial)
  • Demonstrate knowledge of phone and email procedures and etiquette
  • Reside in the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan area
  • Valid driver’s license
Skills
  • Maintain Tenant Lease Files
  • Update existing Tenant Lease Spreadsheets
  • Update existing Tenant Contact Spreadsheets
  • Ensure Tenant Lease is Updated and Signed Correctly
  • Preparation of Lease Agreements
  • Phoning for quotes for the maintenance team
  • Send approved quotes to the ordering department for purchase orders
  • Assist with the scheduling of maintenance work and coordinate with tenants
  • Follow up with the Tenants to ascertain if the maintenance job was completed satisfactorily
  • Perform weekly stock take with the Maintenance Team
  • Data management; recording of all maintenance jobs and purchase orders on each property
  • Do ingoing and outgoing inspections with tenants and process / capture these inspections after it has been carried out
  • Approve rental applications of potential tenants
  • Phone tenants for outstanding rent payments
  • Assist the Property Manager in any and all admin functions required by the Property Manager
