Job description

Property Manager – Shoreditch, E1

A well-respected and very established Property Firm are actively seeking a personable, professional and team player based in Shoreditch E1. The successful Property Manager will be responsible for a portfolio of properties, therefore they must be able to manage their own workload, keep on top of any issues and prioritise jobs as necessary.

Responsibilities include but will not be limited to:

  1. Check the diaries daily for property visits, move ins, check outs and organise as necessary with the relevant person(s) or company.
  2. Take and handle calls for all property management related queries.
  3. Organise gas certificate renewals with relevant contractors.
  4. Organise electrical certificates and PAT tests.
  5. Handle and send out all Section notices ensuring they are sent out as required.
  6. Attend, complete and book in all Property visits.
  7. Enter all invoice details onto the database for maintenance works etc.
  8. Produce invoices on the database for payment with landlords and email these to the relevant person(s) as applicable.
  9. Scan files and save documents into data files as necessary.
  10. Lodge deposits on the Deposit Protection Scheme.
  11. Book inventories with relevant companies and ensure all inventory details are on the database.
  12. Type up Tenancy agreements and collate and generate all move in required information to be given to the relevant tenant(s).

The Successful Applicant will need to possess the following skills:

  1. Must have a minimum of 2 years property management experience as a Property Manager is essential for this role.
  2. It is highly desirable that candidates have intermediate computer literacy.
  3. Experience of lettings/property management software packages would be useful.
  4. ARLA Qualified would be an advantage.
  5. Be able to manage their own workload.
  6. Clean driving licence.

The hours will be: Monday to Friday 8:45am – 6:00pm

Salary range will be: £32,000-£35,000 pa. Access to Company pool car for inspections.
