Property Manager - Buckhurst Hill, IG9

Our client is a family-run, independent estate agent. They are a supportive team that values building strong and trusting relationships both internally and with their clients. They currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Property Manager to join their team. This person will play a key role in further developing and growing the business to reach its aspirations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Administrator/Property Manager duties as required for our clients
  2. Property onboarding, including all elements such as ID requests, Land Registry, Letters to Vendors & Landlords
  3. Tenancy progression from referencing, tenant & landlord confirmations, preparing tenancy agreements and statutory notices
  4. AML & Right to Rent checks
  5. Liaising with landlords, tenants, tradesmen, service providers, and professional advisors
  6. Arranging and monitoring works and repairs
  7. Carrying out property inspections and reporting to landlords
  8. Compiling rental and contractor payments weekly
  9. Liaising with directors on payments due/reconciled
  10. Chasing outstanding payments as required
  11. Negotiating tenancy renewal terms alongside directors
  12. Mediating between landlords and tenants on issues or disputes
  13. Handling tenancy deposit returns

The successful applicant will need to possess the following skills:

  1. Minimum of 2-3 years property management experience as a Property Manager or lettings admin is essential
  2. Intermediate computer literacy is highly desirable
  3. Experience with lettings/property management software packages is useful
  4. ARLA qualification would be an advantage
  5. Ability to manage own workload
  6. Own car for inspections and viewings

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 6pm

Salary range: £27,000 to £30,000 per annum
