The Employee Relations Business Partner's Duties and Responsibilities will be listed below :
- Manage the Human Resources services related to the Production, Logistics and Quality function for management and employees, through the effective deployment of front line Business Partners at the Plant.
- Consult, provide advice and guidance to all levels of Top Management, Management, Employees and the Union on all IR strategies, policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence to all policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Support the auditing processes, evaluate and implement corrective action where necessary, on relevant HR processes, policies, procedures and agreements, to ensure that these are interpreted and implemented by HR Management, consistently and within the stipulated parameters.
- Conduct performance management of each team member, to ensure team members have the opportunity, motivation and guidance to reach his / her full potential within HR Division.
- Ensure Performance management processes are appropriately applied in Production, Logistics and Quality and facilitate moderation sessions within the Division.
- Advise, guide and coach HR Business Partners on Employee Relations and Personnel issues to ensure an efficient and effective comprehensive HR service is rendered to all customers.
- In consultation with team, plan, organise and delegate work and team activities to ensure end results are met timeously and within expected standards whilst resources are utilised efficiently.
- Advise Management on Organisational / departmental planning and structuring, and drive processes associated with the achievement of related Company goals.
- To critically evaluate HR operational processes, recommend in consultation with parties involved corrective actions and oversee the implementation of outcomes to ensure more productive and efficient HR service.
- To consult with all level management, Union, Employees on implementation understanding and application of HR strategies, policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence to all policies, guidelines and agreements.
- Introduce and monitor effective HR metrics to ensure up to date and relevant monitoring of performance delivery and KPI's.
- Drive implementation of the Transformation Strategy to ensure that Company and Legal requirements are met, in order to ensure compliance with current legislation.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate for the Employee Relations Business Partner in Eastern Cape will need to have the following skills and expertise for the prospective candidate to be successful in the role :
- A relevant Degree in Human Resources or related field.
- 10 years plus work experience in a broad range of HR practices such as Personnel, Employee and Industrial Relations.
- 2 Years at Management Level.
