- Oversee the daily operations of residential or commercial properties, including maintenance, security, and tenant relations.
- Develop and implement property budgets and financial reports, ensuring cost-effective management and profitability.
- Negotiate lease agreements with tenants, ensuring terms are favorable and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Coordinate with contractors and service providers for property improvements, repairs, and routine maintenance, ensuring work is completed to standards.
- Implement marketing strategies to maximize occupancy rates, including advertising vacancies and conducting property tours for prospective tenants.
- Handle tenant complaints and disputes, resolving issues in a timely and fair manner to maintain a positive living or working environment.
- Conduct regular property inspections to assess condition, identify necessary repairs, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Develop and maintain emergency preparedness plans, including evacuation routes and procedures, to ensure tenant safety in case of emergencies.
- Listing properties, organising inspections, and preparing tenancy agreements
- Negotiating and collecting rental income
- Conducting inspections and organising maintenance and repairs
- Ensuring that all maintenance issues are resolved and the property is well-maintained

Qualifications and Experience
- Must have Matric / Senior Certificate and Diploma in Real Estate
- Must have 3 - 5 years working experience as property manager
- Must have communication, time management and people management skills
- Customer service and interpersonal skills needed to meet with prospective and current tenants
- Attention to detail to ensure applications are accurate and tenant issues or questions are adequately addressed
- Organization and the ability to multitask efficiently
- Problem-solving to find effective solutions for a variety of potential issues
- Knowledge of rental contracts and property and anti-discrimination laws
