Property Investment Consultant – Durbanville, Cape Town

A leading national wealth and property investment company is looking for a Property Investment Consultant to join their team on a full-time permanent basis at their offices in Durbanville.

Position Overview

A Property Investment Consultant specializes in helping clients buy, sell, and manage investment properties. They focus on identifying profitable real estate opportunities, negotiating deals, and providing expert advice to investors looking to build or diversify their property portfolios. This role requires a combination of strong sales skills, market knowledge, and financial understanding to guide clients through the real estate investment process.

Requirements

1. Experience in a similar position.
2. A bachelor's degree in business, finance, real estate, or a related field is preferred, but not compulsory.
3. Valid FFC, EAAB, NQF4 preferred, but not compulsory.
4. Proven experience as a real estate agent, ideally with a focus on investment properties.
5. Experience working with investors and developers in real estate is highly valued.
6. Experience in negotiating deals, working with investment clients, and handling property transactions.
7. Excellent communication skills and client relations.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Undertaking a needs analysis for each client.
2. Maintaining close client relationships and recording all activities pertaining to dealings with clients on the CRM system.
3. Updating sales spreadsheets.
4. Preparation and gathering of FICA documentation and liaising with clients for signature if required.
5. Site visits, seminar attendance, and showhouse viewings when required.
6. Preparing property investment plans and presenting to clients.
7. Promoting all other services provided by the subsidiary companies.
8. Comprehensive knowledge of all developments and property investing.
9. Undergoing extensive training and writing regular internal exams to measure understanding and progress.
10. Passing the company's Training Academy.
