Propr is seeking a hands-on Bookkeeper to join our Cape Town finance team. You will own day-to-day bookkeeping, reconcile bank and credit cards, and process supplier invoices for our growing short-term rental portfolio.

We value detail, speed, and accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Based in SA, you’ll work with Xero/Sage/QuickBooks and our PMS, Asana, and Front workflows to keep finances clean and timely.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of bookkeeping experience, hospitality/short-term rentals is a plus.
• Solid understanding of AP, AR, bank reconciliations and general ledger.
• Comfortable with cloud accounting and Excel/Sheets; quick to learn new tools.

Aufgaben

• Own day-to-day bookkeeping across the business.
• Complete regular bank and credit card reconciliations with no loose ends.
• Process supplier invoices and property-related expenses accurately.
• Manage accounts payable and keep supplier accounts tidy and reconciled.
• Follow up to ensure receipts and invoices are submitted on time.
• Process guest refunds efficiently and correctly.
• Prepare and process payment batches with proper approvals and audit trails.
• Keep PMS, cloud tools, and trackers up to date.
