Job summary

Snatch | Accounting & Finance Headhunters is seeking an Audit Senior to join the flagship Cape Town team. You will lead end-to-end audits for UK property clients, from planning to completion, while mentoring junior staff and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role requires newly qualified CA(SA), SAICA articles, and proven experience in property audits with exposure to CaseWare Accounts and Xero.

Qualifications

• Must be a newly qualified CA(SA) with SAICA articles completed.
• Experience auditing property sector clients is essential.
• Proven ability to lead audit engagements from planning to finalisation.
• Experience with CaseWare Accounts and Xero preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end audit engagements for UK property clients from planning through to completion.
• Perform risk and control assessments to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Review working papers and testing prepared by junior staff for accuracy.
• Delegate tasks, coordinate daily workflow, and coach junior staff on deliverables.
• Present audit findings and process improvement recommendations to managers and clients.
• Conduct audit testing using CaseWare Accounts and Xero.
