Job description

Dis-Chem Pharmacies in Midrand has an opportunity available for a Property Administrator.

This role involves managing the full lifecycle of lease documentation and supporting property operations across the commercial and retail portfolio.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Lease administration, coordination of pharmacy license applications, compliance tracking, and stakeholder communication.
  2. Supporting daily operations across the property portfolio, liaising with maintenance teams, and maintaining property files.
  3. Coordinating tenant move-ins and move-outs, addressing tenant concerns, and managing rental arrears and billing discrepancies.
  4. Assisting in budgeting, rent roll updates, and income forecasting.
  5. Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements like CPA and POPIA.
  6. Supporting audit processes and maintaining records in the property management system.
  7. Drafting, reviewing, and maintaining lease agreements and data, tracking renewals, and ensuring compliance through lease audits.
  8. Supporting pharmacy license applications with accurate documentation.
  9. Maintaining communication with landlords, property managers, and project teams.
  10. Ensuring lease agreements comply with company policies and legislation, and maintaining confidentiality.
  11. Generating lease-related reports and adhering to company policies and health and safety standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Grade 12 / Matric, with a Diploma or Degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • 2-3 years experience in property administration or similar role.
  • Knowledge of lease administration, legal frameworks, and financial principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and compliance tracking systems.
  • Effective communication, relationship building, problem-solving, and self-management skills.

Conditions of Employment:

  • South African citizen, clear criminal and credit records, valid driver's license, and reliable transport.
  • Occasional travel required.
