Overview

Are you an organised detail-driven administrator with a passion for property and people?


A fantastic opportunity has opened for an experienced Property Administrator to join a leading property management team in Cape Town. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on structure has a strong financial acumen and enjoys working in a dynamic and professional environment.


Acting as the backbone of the administrative function the successful candidate will be responsible for managing lease agreements arrears tenant communication and maintaining accurate property data. A deep understanding of property systems and strong communication skills are key to success in this role.


Key Duties


  • Load and maintain tenant data on internal property systems (PIMS / Rise)

  • Prepare and finalise tenant statements manual billings reconciliations and refunds

  • Handle lease administration including credit checks lease inputs system updates and annual increases

  • Monitor and follow up on arrears update reports and manage legal handovers when necessary

  • Maintain unit data parking schedules municipal invoices and accruals

  • Liaise with tenants and service providers professionally and efficiently

  • Consolidate reports and assist with general property administration


Key Requirements


  • Grade 12 with a relevant diploma in property or administration

  • Minimum 5 years experience in a property administration role

  • Financial accounting and customer service experience essential

  • Proficient in MS Office and property management software (PIMS or MDA)

  • Excellent attention to detail numeracy and organisational skills

  • Ability to manage deadlines multitask and work independently

  • Background in leasing and body corporate administration is advantageous
