Property Accountant – Stellenbosch

Must preferably be available immediately!

Salary: Market Related per month, depending on experience

Our client, a Commercial & Residential Property Developments company, seeks an Accountant to join their dynamic team, who can start Immediately or as soon as possible at their offices in Stellenbosch.

Must live in or around Stellenbosch Area.

Requirements:
Grade 12
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Non-Negotiable)
Professional affiliation (SAIPA, SAICA, or CIMA) is an advantage
3-5 + Years Relevant experience in as Accountant
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax legislation, and financial reporting standards
MS Office - Excel knowledge
Own Transport

Duties include, but are not limited to:
Oversee the accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
Maintain and review accounting records, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with applicable standards and internal controls.
Review VAT reconciliations and ensure timely, accurate VAT submissions and payments.
Prepare monthly management accounts and reports
Reconcile bank statements and manage banking relationships.
Process depreciation and ensure proper asset classification and disposal
Assist with the preparation and monitoring of budgets.
