Job summary

Ability Executive Recruitment is seeking a Property Accountant in Pretoria, South Africa. The role requires SAICA articles and will involve complex asset registers, depreciation and lease calculations, and IFRS-compliant financial reporting.

You will support month-end and year-end processes, intercompany reconciliations, and tax filings. Applicants should have a B.Com Accounting degree with SAICA articles and at least 2 years of commercial accounting experience.

Qualifications

• SAICA articles are non-negotiable.
• Caseware experience is required.
• 2+ years of commercial accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain asset register and depreciation calculations.
• Prepare monthly and year-end journals including depreciation, payroll, and provisions.
• Report on debtor balances and manage client invoicing and cash collection.
• Reconcile intercompany and supplier balances; ensure IFRS alignment.
