Job summary

The role spans multiple sites around Boston, Bellville and Cape Town, with local travel to properties and suppliers. You will develop skills in operations, data organisation and cross-functional collaboration, while learning

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.
  • Demonstrated interest in business operations, systems development or admin coordination.
  • Willingness to travel locally between properties and suppliers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence managing email.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Suite, or willingness to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with communication management across multiple businesses, including email oversight, lead responses, client queries and structured correspondence tracking.
  • Maintain and update social media accounts by posting content, responding to messages and coordinating updates with leadership.
  • Support daily operations of property and rental management portfolios, including site coordination, documentation updates, scheduling and supplier liaison.
  • Assist with setup, testing and refinement of operational systems built around automation and AI capabilities.
  • Contribute to data organization, preparation of reports and basic analysis to inform decisions.
  • Coordinate local visits to properties and suppliers as required.
  • Prepare internal and external documents, updates and workflow summaries.
  • Assist with administrative functions such as digital filing, invoice tracking, database maintenance and process documentation.
  • Support monthly leadership reconciliations by gathering inputs and compiling summaries.
  • Participate in operational planning sessions across varied business environments.

Role Overview

This internship provides broad exposure to business operations across multiple business settings, combining administrative coordination, property and rental portfolio tasks, digital systems work, and high volume communication management. You will support functions such as client engagement, automation assisted workflows, basic system setup, social media coordination, and monthly reporting. The role is primarily based around Boston, Bellville, Cape Town, with task-task-specific local travel between properties and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with communication management across multiple businesses, including email inbox oversight, lead responses, client queries and structured correspondence tracking

  • Maintain and update social media accounts by posting basic content, responding to messages and coordinating updates with leadership

  • Support the daily operations of property and rental management portfolios, including site coordination, documentation updates, scheduling and supplier liaison

  • Support business solutions work by assisting with the setup, testing and refinement of operational systems built around automation and AI capabilities
