This internship provides broad exposure to business operations across multiple business settings, combining administrative coordination, property and rental portfolio tasks, digital systems work, and high volume communication management. You will support functions such as client engagement, automation assisted workflows, basic system setup, social media coordination, and monthly reporting. The role is primarily based around Boston, Bellville, Cape Town, with task-task-specific local travel between properties and suppliers.
Assist with communication management across multiple businesses, including email inbox oversight, lead responses, client queries and structured correspondence tracking
Maintain and update social media accounts by posting basic content, responding to messages and coordinating updates with leadership
Support the daily operations of property and rental management portfolios, including site coordination, documentation updates, scheduling and supplier liaison
Support business solutions work by assisting with the setup, testing and refinement of operational systems built around automation and AI capabilities
Contribute to data organisation, preparation of reports and basic analysis to inform decision making
Coordinate local visits to properties and suppliers when required
Prepare internal and external documents, updates and workflow summaries
Assist with administrative functions such as digital filing, invoice tracking, database maintenance and process documentation
Support monthly leadership reconciliations by gathering inputs, organising data and compiling summaries
Participate in operational planning sessions and improvement initiatives across varied business environments
Bachelor’s degree
Demonstrated interest in business operations, systems development or administrative coordination
Ability to travel locally between properties, suppliers and operational sites when needed
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence managing email correspondence and client queries
Willingness to learn and use digital tools including automation features and AI supported systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite or readiness to learn quickly
Strong organisational ability with attention to accuracy and detail
Comfortable working across different businesses and operational contexts
Ability to work independently while also collaborating closely with team members
Positive, proactive approach to handling varied responsibilities
