Prop Trader - Emerging Market Ceemea - Delta One (South Africa)

AP Capital trades 1b to 3b USD volume on an average day and operates 24 hours a day.

AP Capital's roots stem from Delta One, and we are looking to further enhance and diversify by hiring a Delta One Trader with Emerging Markets experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Search for and monitor trading opportunities, build a trading book & portfolio from scratch.
2. Create, build and manage Trading book for EM Delta One trading strategies generating consistent PnL whilst managing Risk.
3. Develop delta one trading strategies for Central Europe, Middle East & Africa.
4. Perform index/CA/stat arbitrage, index rebalance, single stock trading.

Requirements:

1. Minimum 5 years trading experience in delta one at investment banks or hedge funds, skilled in Arbitrage.
2. Successful PnL track record (please be ready to share).
3. Highly numerical, preferably with advanced knowledge in statistics and probabilities.
4. Technical skills with VBA, Python or C++ to build own trading tools.
5. Ability to multi-task, act and think quickly.
6. Self-disciplined, highly motivated and proactive.
7. Degree holder preferably in Financial Engineering, Maths, or Computer Science.
