Bachelor’s Degree in Transport and LogisticsMaster’s degree (advantageous)Willingness to travel extensively to operational sites1-3 years work experience in a logistics, transport, or operations-related environmentDuties & Responsibilities
Conduct process mapping, time studies, value stream analysis, and workflow assessments across agricultural logistics operations.Optimise vehicle routing and logistics processes to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.Ensure data quality by identifying and addressing data issues and uphold effective data governance practices.Define, implement, and maintain KPIs to measure the stability and effectiveness of processes.Conduct site Gemba walks and motion studies to identify inefficiencies and dominant constraints in operations.Analyse the agricultural value chain to uncover performance gaps and continuous improvement opportunities.Design and implement new or improved business processes that support compliance, control, and accurate reporting.Collaborate with site management to identify business improvement opportunities and monitor process performance.Lead business improvement projects from initiation through execution, tracking and verifying value creation.Identify complete workflow and business process requirements and support implementation, including approvals, documentation, testing, and training.Explore and implement automation and digital integration opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce reliance on manual / paper-based reporting.Support the creation of scalable, sustainable solutions for long-term process improvement and operational excellence.Facilitate knowledge sharing and promote a culture of continuous improvement across teams.Provide on-site support across multiple locations, adapting solutions to unique operational challenges.Closing Date
