A leading staffing agency is seeking a Safety Officer to ensure compliance with health and safety standards on construction projects. The role involves monitoring work activities, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring all contractors meet safety requirements. Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of experience and be a registered Construction Health and Safety Officer.
The Safety Officer will be responsible for supporting job project managers to ensure safe execution of projects related to work activities onsite by monitoring work activities to ensure that they are being executed in compliance with Health and Safety Standards and local legal requirements, e.g. OHS Act 85 of 1993.
