Project Manager (Transactions)

Job Summary:

The company is looking to recruit an ambitious and energetic Project Manager, who will help Candi to lead the revolution of solar. Given that Candi is taking solar into a new realm with a new set of tools, the role will require creativity, innovation, and a new way of thinking.

Responsibilities:

1. Transaction Process Management: Overseeing all stages of the capital raising process, including planning, tracking tasks & timelines, and coordinating with internal team members to ensure these processes are efficiently run.
2. Investor Relations Coordination: Organising investor calls, scheduling meetings, coordinating due diligence trips, and serving as one of the main points of contact with investors.
3. Due Diligence Management: Managing due diligence processes, including overseeing different due diligence vendor streams and handling due diligence Q&As by working with internal team members.
4. Transaction Execution: Managing transaction execution processes, including coordinating with various stakeholders, managing the flow of information in the negotiation of transaction documents, and assisting with the closing of conditions precedent.
5. Post-Transaction Reporting: Developing reporting templates and ensuring the ongoing reporting requirements are addressed in a timely manner.
6. Process Optimisation: Identifying and addressing potential issues throughout the capital raising, due diligence & reporting processes, and implementing solutions to ensure a seamless workflow.

Johannesburg / Cape Town / Durban, combined with working from home.

Hours:

Full time.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
2. 2-3 years of experience in project management or transaction management.
3. Prior exposure to transactions, investor relations, or similar processes is a plus.
4. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage complex information and coordinate across teams effectively.
5. Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise effectively.
6. Strong communication skills, especially in managing investor communications and coordinating responses across teams.
7. Proficiency in project management tools (Asana or other) and Microsoft Office Suite.
