Qualifications

About the Role

Our client, a leading telecommunications provider, is seeking a skilled and motivated Project Manager to lead a critical network expansion project. This office-based role in Upington, Northern Cape , requires a professional with a strong background in telecommunications infrastructure and project management. You will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and deployment of new network infrastructure to enhance service delivery in the region. The ideal candidate possesses excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and technical teams. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of telecommunications network expansion projects.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, resource allocation, and budget.
• Coordinate activities of internal technical teams, field engineers, and external vendors.
• Oversee the procurement and installation of network equipment and infrastructure components.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant technical standards, safety regulations, and quality control measures.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, implementing effective mitigation strategies.
• Liaise with stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, local authorities, and community representatives, to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.
