Job description

Our client is seeking a seasoned Project Manager for large-scale solar projects from pre-financial close through execution (design, construction, commissioning, handover) for their PCM Department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee project execution, ensuring on-time, within-budget, and quality delivery.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, resources, and contracts.
• Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, legal, finance) and external stakeholders (EPC contractors, authorities, etc.).
• Monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support Wind Projects during pre-financial close phases as needed.

Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary qualification, SACPCMP highly preferable.
• Corporate ESMS (Environmental, Social, Management System), IFC Standards and Equator Principles experience.
• Proven experience in large-scale renewable energy project management (solar/wind).
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies.
• Experience in EPC contract management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong planning, prioritisation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in English; bilingualism is advantageous.
