SUMMARY :

Project Manager / Senior Project Controls Manager

POSITION INFO :

We are currently looking for a Project Manager / Senior Project Controls Manager to join our team. This is a 6-month contract based in Rustenburg.

Minimum requirements :

• Relevant Degree
• At least 5 years of experience as a Project Controls Manager
• Skills in Cost Control, Change Control, and Schedule Control
• Project Planning experience
• 5 to 10 years of experience as a Project Controls Manager in the mining environment
• The ability to establish, track, and report on action lists, schedules, and projects in a challenging environment with multiple stakeholders is essential.

Short Job Description :

• Participate in the IR / IB Consolidation project team
• Attend consolidation action committee meetings
• Record all actions from consolidation meetings
• Report weekly and as needed on project progress
• Assist in establishing the scope and deliverables for the project
• Establish and maintain a baseline project schedule
• Maintain a Portfolio of Evidence (POE) for all deliverables from consolidation schedules
• Provide weekly progress reports based on data from the baseline schedule via a comprehensive dashboard
• Maintain a project control register for incidents, issues, decisions, and lessons learned
• Assist with any additional schedules related to the IR / IB Consolidation project as required

Each workstream will have its own set of deliverables and sub-deliverables, managed through a master schedule. Some workstreams may require more detailed schedules later. The focus is on leveraging synergies within the engineering environment.
