Job description

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team based in JHB.

Contract Details: 12-month contract, Hybrid (onsite 3 days per week).

Responsibilities:

• Plan, direct, and coordinate enterprise-wide projects to ensure goals are accomplished.
• Develop project plans specifying goals, strategy, staffing, scheduling, risk identification, contingency plans, and resource allocation in line with business strategy.
• Manage strategy, planning, organizing, negotiating, staffing, directing, and controlling all aspects of projects/solutions or programs to ensure successful implementation aligned with business objectives.
• Escalate impediments, manage risks, ensure value delivery, and drive continuous improvement.
• Balance Agile leadership with project/program management to enhance software development efficiency.
• Leverage knowledge of scaling Lean and Agile practices, understanding the challenges and opportunities in large development programs.

Skills and Methodologies:

• Decision-making, financial management, report writing, governance, risk, and controls.
• Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies, including Scrum Master skills.
• Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MSP.
