Project Manager Restaurant Industry (Location: Midrand)

A dynamic and growing restaurant brand is seeking aproject managerwith solid industry experience to join itsteam. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands the operational complexities of the restaurant and hospitality sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end projects including new store openings, renovations, and operational rollouts.
  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure all projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including operations, marketing, construction, and IT.
  • Engage and collaborate with franchisees, suppliers, landlords, and internal departments.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and compliance standards.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address on-site issues in real-time.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a restaurant or hospitality industry project management role.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations, supply chain, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • A hands-on and solutions-driven approach.
  • Must be based in or able to work from the Midrand office.
  • Own reliable vehicle required for site visits (petrol and tolls reimbursed).
  • No medical aid or provident fund included.
