About the Role
Our client is seeking an innovative and experienced Project Manager to lead New Product Development initiatives in Nelspruit . This hybrid role combines essential in-office engagement with the flexibility of remote work, allowing for a dynamic approach to project leadership. You will be responsible for guiding new products from the ideation stage through to market launch, working collaboratively with R&D, marketing, engineering, and operations teams. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in product lifecycle management and a passion for bringing successful new offerings to market.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end project management of new product development cycles, from concept to commercialization.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource requirements, and budgets.
- Coordinate activities across cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies.
- Oversee product testing, validation, and regulatory compliance processes.
- Ensure timely and successful launch of new products, meeting market and business objectives.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in project management , with a significant focus on new product development (NPD) or product management.
- Demonstrated success in launching new products in competitive markets.
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, market analysis, and consumer research.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional team management skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and product development tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
