Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Selby, Johannesburg

Reports To: Maintenance Executive

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Job Purpose

To lead, plan, execute, and close projects ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality and safety standards. The role requires close coordination with other departments, primarily Maintenance, Production, Procurement, Finance and Health & Safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage all phases of maintenance and manufacturing-related projects (e.g., equipment installation, upgrades, shutdowns, process improvements)
  • Assist in defining project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, resources, and budgets
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Coordinate internal and external resources (contractors, vendors, consultants)
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards and processes
  • Identify and mitigate project risks
  • Conduct post-project reviews and implement lessons learned

Qualifications & Experience

  • Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) preferred
  • 5 -10 Years experience in managing technical projects and multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing and maintenance processes
  • Experience with ERP systems and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Syspro)
