Project Manager for APS - AWS Migration

We are looking for a project manager to lead the APS AWS migration. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the project including project planning, scheduling, time management, communication with clients and development teams as well as maintaining proper documentation throughout the process.

Requirements

Responsible for the successful management and delivery of large and complex, high-priority projects or a combination of projects from commencement to completion within the scope, budget and time agreed to. These projects often require considerable resources and high levels of functional integration, including the coordination of different groups of people from varying disciplines (across business and IT), associated with the project.

Focus on delivering project benefits into the operational environment and maintaining a focus on communicating impediments, which might prevent the delivery of the requirement, so that project benefits can be realized timeously.

Coordinate and manage work across all impacted features, components, and support teams involved in delivering the project.

Work closely with the Project Sponsor, Chief Product Owner(s), and Product Owners of feature teams, to coordinate project activities, so that project goal can be achieved.

Responsible, in conjunction with the Project Sponsor, for the successful management and delivery of complex high-priority projects or a combination of projects from commencement to completion within the scope, and time agreed to by the project team:

1. Leads a project from inception to execution
2. Facilitate a common understanding of the project definition & scope
3. Plan, direct, and coordinate the people, deliverables, and dependencies within a project management and collaboration of project team member relations
4. Foresee and measure project risks, dependencies & impediments throughout the lifetime of a project
5. Monitoring and reporting on project progress against an agreed release plan
6. Change agents within a project
7. Retain the focus on the end goal
8. Stakeholder communication throughout the lifecycle of the project
9. Defining the project governance and communication arrangements
10. Contribute to the development of the Project Services department within Capitec Bank
11. Provide process and procedural enhancements from working experience
12. Provide input into standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation
13. Research and share industry best practices and changing trends

Qualifications

Grade 12 / Matric with university exemption

Manager, DSDM Atern Project Manager)

At least 8 -10 years’ proven project management experience
