Our client, a prominent financial institution in Sandton , is seeking an accomplished Project Manager to lead the implementation of critical financial systems. This role is pivotal in driving the successful deployment of new financial software, ensuring it meets stringent regulatory requirements and enhances operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial processes, robust project management skills, and experience managing complex system implementations within the financial services sector. You will be based in our state-of-the-art Gauteng offices, working closely with finance, IT, and compliance teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of financial system implementation projects from initiation to closure.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
• Oversee the configuration, testing, data migration, and deployment of new financial software solutions.
• Collaborate closely with finance departments, IT teams, and external vendors to define requirements and ensure successful integration.
• Ensure strict adherence to financial regulations, compliance standards, and internal policies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, developing effective resolution strategies.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain clear, consistent communication with all parties involved.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
