Project Manager (Principal) - Pretoria, Gauteng

Duties & Responsibilities

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

  • BSc, B.Eng or BTech qualification in built environment with professional registration as a Construction Project Manager with SACPCMP
  • Project management qualification advantageous, as well as postgraduate studies in project management, business, or legal fields
  • Good knowledge of and experience in the built environment, planning processes, statutory processes, government policies, and team leadership
  • 10+ years of relevant experience with at least 5 years in complex building and/or infrastructure projects
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Leading and managing multiple complex projects
  • Managing costs, scheduling, and technical matters
  • Compiling/reviewing contracts and agreements
  • Building and maintaining external stakeholder relationships
  • Project and programme management & contract administration
  • Managing service providers
  • Sourcing new work and concluding contracts
  • Providing technical advice to clients
  • Ensuring compliance with all legislation
  • Budgeting and maximizing sustainable revenue streams
