yberPro is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead BI and Data Platform initiatives within a complex retail environment. You will manage end-to-end projects involving BI, data warehousing, analytics, and modern cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks).

The role requires strong delivery focus, stakeholder management, and coordination of cross-functional teams including Data Engineers, BI Developers, Analysts and Architects to ensure timely, within-scope outcomes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience as a Project Manager within technology, data, BI or analytics environments.
• Proven experience managing BI and Data implementation projects.
• Strong understanding of Data Warehousing, BI and Data Analytics environments.
• Practical exposure to Snowflake and Databricks.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and modern data architectures.
• Experience leading technical teams on cross-functional projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Agile and/or hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Knowledge of project governance, planning, risk management and delivery processes.

yberPro is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate Business Intelligence and Data Platform implementation initiatives within a complex retail environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end projects involving BI, data warehousing, analytics and modern cloud data platforms, with particular exposure to Snowflake and Databricks. The role requires a strong understanding of data and technology delivery, combined with proven project management experience within a retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of BI, data and analytics projects from initiation through to implementation and closure.
• Manage projects involving modern data platforms, including Snowflake and Databricks.
• Coordinate the implementation and enhancement of Business Intelligence and data warehouse solutions.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, budgets and delivery roadmaps.
• Manage project scope, risks, dependencies, issues and change requests.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Data Engineers, BI Developers, Data Analysts, Architects, Business Analysts and other technology stakeholders.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into clear project deliverables.
• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, technology teams, vendors and third-party service providers.
• Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, timelines, budget and quality standards.
• Facilitate project governance, status reporting, steering committee meetings and stakeholder updates.
• Identify and proactively manage project risks, dependencies and delivery challenges.
• Support the adoption and implementation of modern data and analytics capabilities across the organisation.
• Ensure appropriate testing, deployment, documentation and handover processes are followed.
• Drive collaboration between business and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide regular reporting on project progress, key milestones, risks, issues and overall delivery status.

Required Experience & Skills

• 7+ years' experience as a Project Manager within technology, data, BI or analytics environments.
• Proven experience managing BI and Data implementation projects.
• Strong understanding of Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence and Data Analytics environments.
• Practical project exposure to Snowflake and Databricks.
• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms and modern data architectures.
• Experience managing technical teams and complex, cross-functional technology projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working with Agile and/or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Strong understanding of project governance, planning, risk management and delivery methodologies.

Industry Experience

Retail experience is essential. Candidates should have experience working on data, BI, analytics or technology transformation initiatives within a large retail environment, ideally with exposure to: Retail operations Supply Chain Merchandising Customer analytics E-commerce Finance Inventory and product data Customer loyalty Reporting and Business Intelligence

Advantageous Experience

• within a large enterprise or high-volume retail environment.
