We seek a highly experienced Project Manager based in Cape Town to lead our software implementations and AI integration projects. This role will work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of modernization initiatives, driving operational transformation for enterprise and public-sector clients.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail and a strong customer-centric mindset, consistently focusing on delivering outcomes and service that exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and oversee software implementation and modernization projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring alignment with client goals
• Lead integration of AI agents, RPA workflows, data analytics, and automation tools across multiple software platforms
• Partner with client IT teams and key stakeholders to manage agile sprints, maintain real-time status tracking, and ensure clear handovers and documentation
• Manage project scope, risks, milestones, deliverables, and budget, ensuring high client satisfaction
• Facilitate stakeholder communication, executive reporting, and technical liaison between teams
• Maintain adherence to enterprise-grade security, data residency, and compliance requirements
• Train and mentor junior PMs and PCs, and oversee contractors or local project staff as needed
• Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives and post-implementation reviews

Qualifications & Skills

• 3–5 years’ experience managing software implementations (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics) or hyper-custom deployments
• Ability to thrive in fast paced environments
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, particularly with cross-functional & executive teams
• Proven experience working in hybrid/on-site and remote delivery environments
• Familiarity with security standards and data compliance (e.g., ISO regulations, GDPR, or country-level data regulations)
• Experience working with bespoke/custom modules within software and cloud-native platforms
• Experience leading and delivering complex projects across multiple countries and cultural contexts
