Job summary

United Exports is seeking a driven Project Manager to join our Operations team in South Africa. You will lead end-to-end project delivery while driving continuous improvement across the business.

This role requires turning complex requirements into actionable solutions, ensuring projects stay on time, within scope and budget, and delivering value across departments and with external vendors. Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in project management.
• PMP, PRINCE II, or equivalent certification (advantageous)

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and deliver projects from initiation through to completion.
• Track progress, manage deadlines, and ensure alignment with scope and budget.
• Gather and analyse business requirements, facilitating workshops and stakeholder engagement.
• Translate business needs into clear project documentation (e.g., scope, process maps, UAT plans).
• Lead project teams and collaborate with internal departments and external vendors.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project updates, risks, and outcomes.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Maintain high-quality standards across all project deliverables.
• Drive process improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Produce regular reporting and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field
  
• 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role
  
• PMP, PRINCE II, or equivalent certification (advantageous)

• Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
  
• Ability to translate complex requirements into actionable solutions
