Job description

We are looking to hire a Project Manager who will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

What youâ€ll do :

  1. Planning, compiling, and managing project schedules
  2. Preparing, controlling, and managing project budgets, forecasts, and expenditure
  3. Procurement management for relevant projects, including approval of project orders and ensuring delivery meets technical and time requirements
  4. Managing projects within the scope of applicable contracts and applying best practices
  5. Quality assurance and control, emphasizing conformance to customer expectations
  6. Managing and guiding both internal resources and subcontractors
  7. Risk management across technical, contractual, financial, health and safety, and schedule risks
  8. Effective change management
  9. Maintaining efficient communication with all stakeholders, especially clients

Experience required :

  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience
  • Exposure to multi-disciplinary projects
  • Experience managing contracts based on NEC, FIDIC, or GCC standards
  • Ongoing training in relevant project management courses

Qualifications :

  • Matric Certificate
  • Project Management Degree/Diploma or equivalent
  • Recognized training in Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations, including responsibilities of employers and employees
  • Preferred: Engineering Degree or Diploma, NEC/FIDIC/GCC Contracts training, Incident Investigation qualification

  • Travel: Client visits required
