- Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
- Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, fostering strong communication and collaboration
- Provide technical guidance across control systems, electrical, and instrumentation projects
- Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful execution
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Manage stakeholder expectations through regular communication and reporting
- Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring alignment with financial targets
- Maintain thorough project documentation including progress reports, specifications, and change orders
Experience & Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Instrumentation, or a related field
- Project Management certification will be advantageous
- At least 5 years project management experience in control systems, electrical, or instrumentation environments
- Strong technical knowledge of control systems design, electrical engineering principles, and instrumentation technologies
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. MS Project)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing project teams
- Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance requirements in the mining or industrial sector
- Familiarity with automation software (PLC, SCADA)
- Experience working with FIDIC, NEC / ECC, and GCC contracts is highly beneficial
