Qualifications

Job description

• Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
• Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, fostering strong communication and collaboration
• Provide technical guidance across control systems, electrical, and instrumentation projects
• Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful execution
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Manage stakeholder expectations through regular communication and reporting
• Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring alignment with financial targets
• Maintain thorough project documentation including progress reports, specifications, and change orders

Experience & Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Instrumentation, or a related field
• Project Management certification will be advantageous
• At least 5 years project management experience in control systems, electrical, or instrumentation environments
• Strong technical knowledge of control systems design, electrical engineering principles, and instrumentation technologies
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. MS Project)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing project teams
• Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance requirements in the mining or industrial sector
• Familiarity with automation software (PLC, SCADA)
• Experience working with FIDIC, NEC / ECC, and GCC contracts is highly beneficial
