Minimum Job Requirements :
- Engineering Degree or equivalent (Engineering background preferred).
- Knowledge of industry standard contract forms.
- APMP Certificate in Project Management (or equivalent).
- NEBOSH General Certificate in Health & Safety and/or Construction Safety (or equivalent).
- Detailed knowledge of capital process and systems.
- Proven experience in project management and delivery.
- Ability to plan, lead, and manage capital investment projects, ensuring successful delivery.
- Credibility to influence at senior levels and work across various cultures and levels.
- Strong business focus and operational understanding.
- Ability to build relationships and partner with different business units.
- Key cultural attributes: commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
- Strong team leadership capabilities.
Key Performance Areas :
- Ownership of project business cases, ensuring financial integrity aligned with strategic plans.
- Contract development and execution for third-party turnkey installations, including managing external contractors.
- Rigorous analysis of all project options to understand alternatives thoroughly.
- Selection and appointment of project teams, including third parties.
- Lead, develop, and motivate project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and manage a robust project schedule based on the stage-gate process to facilitate effective financial and commercial management that creates business value.
- Ensure adherence to corporate project governance procedures and processes.
- Apply risk management processes to identify and manage significant risks.
- Implement quality management systems to meet stakeholder requirements.
- Provide health and safety leadership and responsibility for all safety aspects related to the project(s).
