Job Title: Project Manager
As a Project Manager, you are responsible for ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget. Your duties include defining project scope and objectives, involving relevant stakeholders, and assessing technical feasibility. You will also define the project team, assign roles, responsibilities, and deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Map out project scope and dependencies across all teams.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation.
- Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.
- Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for flawless project execution, ensuring timely deliverables.
- Manage plan implementation with a focus on quality of delivery.
- Manage changes to scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Measure project performance with suitable tools and techniques.
- Regularly report on progress and escalate issues as necessary.
- Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Close projects with appropriate closure processes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement within the PMO.
Requirements
- Over 5 years of experience managing complex multidisciplinary projects in IT, Telecom, Start-up, or Media sectors.
- Previous consulting experience is preferred.
- University degree.
- Proven track record in leading cross-functional projects, preferably in an international environment.
- Experience with traditional IT/Technology/Telecom projects with virtual teams; agile projects are a plus.
- Strong analytical skills to prioritize activities with the biggest business impact.
- Understanding of both business and technology stakeholder requirements.
- Knowledge of collaboration processes in an agile environment involving Software Development, Testing, Business Analysts, and Project Management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively and work well in teams.
- Experience in gathering and formulating technical and business requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills for handling complex analyses.
- Proficiency in JIRA and MS Office.
