Job summary

Sabenza IT & Recruitment is seeking a Project Manager to deliver IT projects on time, within scope and within budget across corporate and clinical systems.

You will own scope, schedule, budget, resources and stakeholder communication, and lead internal teams, third parties and vendors to successful delivery, with reporting to CXO audiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager.
• Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related technical certification.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience developing a detailed project plan to track progress.
• Experience in Scrum and Agile-related methodologies.
• Experience measuring project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.

We are seeking a Project Manager to deliver agreed IT projects on time, within scope and within budget, with a clear plan, controlled change, measured performance and an escalation path when delivery is at risk.The Project Manager plans, coordinates and delivers information technology projects across a mix of corporate systems and clinical systems. The role owns scope, schedule, budget, resources and stakeholder communication, and leads delivery through internal teams, third parties and vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties or vendors so projects are executed as planned.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
• Develop project scopes and objectives with the relevant stakeholders, and confirm technical feasibility.
• Ensure resources are available and allocated.
• Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.
• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and cost.
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
• Report and escalateto management as needed.
• Mitigate constraints and remove bottlenecks through risk analysis.
• Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
• Develop project plans and manage and monitor key information technology projects.
• Lead and oversee a team of professionals.
• Present at board level, including to CXO and CTO audiences.
• Apply business-development experience where it supports delivery and stakeholder outcomes.
• Lead delivery of IT technologies, including large-scale Microsoft and Oracle solutions.
• Work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Apply Scrum and Agile methods where the delivery approach requires them.
• Account for the different controls, stakeholders and operational impact of corporate systems and clinical systems.
