Job description
A leading technology consulting firm based in the North of JHB is looking for a Project Manager to join their team.
Minimum Requirements :
- Grade 12
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Over 3 years of hands-on project management experience, encompassing all stages of process development and implementation
- Experience in business analysis on data management projects
- Experience with Visio
- Experience working on Microsoft Project Online.
- Clear criminal and credit record
Duties and Responsibilities :
Project Planning :
- Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Create comprehensive project plans, including communication strategies, timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budget management.
- Proactively identify and mitigate project dependencies and risks.
Project Execution :
- Develop and deliver key project documentation including reports, proposals, requirements, and presentations.
- Anticipate and address project challenges through proactive change management and contingency planning.
- Establish and communicate clear project success metrics throughout the project lifecycle.
Stakeholder Communication :
- Ensure open and consistent communication with all project stakeholders.
- Proactively manage expectations to maintain alignment and project success.
Quality Assurance :
- Conduct comprehensive project reviews and develop actionable recommendations based on project performance.
- Establish best practices and tools to enhance future project execution and management.
Risk & Compliance Responsibilities :
- Maintain strict adherence to conflict of interest and confidentiality policies.
- Proactively identify and report potential compliance issues to management.
- Safeguard client confidentiality by protecting, encrypting, and securely storing client data. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Stay current with industry best practices and procedures to mitigate operational risks.
