Responsibilities
Project & Equipment Build Management
- Plan, execute, and oversee equipment build projects from inception to completion.
- Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time delivery.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and production teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize delays.
- Ensure compliance with quality control standards and regulatory requirements.
- Track project performance using KPIs and report progress to senior management.
Field Service & Aftermarket Support
- Oversee field service teams responsible for the installation, maintenance, and support of equipment in the field.
- Develop and implement service schedules, ensuring minimal downtime for customers.
- Provide guidance to field service engineers, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Work closely with clients to address concerns, improve service delivery, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Manage spare parts inventory and ensure efficient logistics for field service operations.
Team Leadership & Stakeholder Coordination
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers, technicians, and service personnel.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to optimize project outcomes.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring transparency and alignment on project objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across project management and service functions.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential :
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in mining, construction, industrial, or heavy equipment manufacturing.
- Proven experience in managing equipment builds and overseeing field service teams.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems in heavy machinery.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project or similar).
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Willingness to travel to job sites and customer locations as required.
Desirable :
- PMP (Project Management Professional).
- Experience in lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Familiarity with ERP systems for project tracking and resource planning.

Work Environment & Travel
