A leading banking institution in Johannesburg is seeking a Project Manager to oversee and manage a range of projects. The role involves accountability for project scope, resources, and ensuring timely delivery aligned with business strategy. Ideal candidates should have strong project planning and stakeholder engagement skills, alongside experience in budget management.
To work as a liaison among stakeholders, using a set of tasks and techniques, to plan, execute, monitor, control, and close projects.
To assume accountability for the entire project scope, project team, resources, and the success or failure of the project.
To partner to enable the planning, coordination, and execution of projects within the organisation and delivery against the business strategy.
To work closely with a diverse group of stakeholders, project resources/managers, and other enablement stakeholders to ensure project objectives are understood, scoped, planned, and outlined in a structured project format to meet delivery timelines and stay within budget.
To assist and drive the management of project resources, track progress, and provide administrative support to facilitate smooth project operations.
