Role Purpose / Business Unit To manage and coordinate projects in accordance with the project management methodology.
Your responsibilities will include : Managing all programmes / projects related to the successful implementation of technology platforms, operational / business support systems, products / service development, and customer solutions deployment.
Ensuring that the project management approach remains current and delivers relevant, revenue-enabling results.
Acquiring and managing project resources.
Executing projects in accordance with managed services standards.
Communicating project progress and initiatives across all stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have : A relevant 3-year degree / diploma with 5 years of relevant experience.
Or Grade 12 with relevant project management certification (longer than 6 months) and 8 years of relevant experience in ITC and related fields.
Core competencies, knowledge, and experience : Minimum of 5 years project management experience (essential).
Minimum of 3 years' experience in the ISP environment (essential).
Exposure to the network environment (essential).
Minimum of 2 years' experience in planning and roll-out of IP-based platforms, systems, or services (essential).
Experience in the IP environment.
Key performance indicators : Ensure project managers meet clients face-to-face during rollouts requiring engagement.
Engage professionally in communication, both electronically and physically.
Provide weekly customer / internal update reports per project, with no more than one customer complaint regarding communication.
Installation revenue target is based on projects assigned 4 months earlier, with all revenue counted regardless of assignment date.
Project documentation should utilize correct templates, be signed, and stored in approved locations.
