Assistant Website Warehouse Manager

With 12 stores scattered across the country and an online store that's as efficient as it is convenient, we're here to make your furniture shopping experience seamless. Our unique warehouse / factory shop concept has been developed with 32 years of experience in the furniture industry.

Our Group is a leading importer, manufacturer, and retailer of furniture and related products.

As a family-owned business, our commitment to excellence runs deep, making Decofurn your trusted partner in creating spaces that truly reflect your style and personality. As the Assistant Website Warehouse Manager, your primary responsibility is to manage the accurate and efficient dispatching of all website orders.

This includes managing employees in your department as well as handling all customer service queries related to the delivery process. This is on a 6-day work week.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage the compliance of existing processes in the warehouse
  2. Ensure correct dispatch procedures are followed
  3. Plan deliveries when needed
  4. Efficient documentation process of picking slips, delivery notes, waybills, and managing relations with third party logistics partners
  5. Continually review available processes and data to ensure maximum efficiency
  6. Extra planning and focus given to peak periods
  7. Align transport requirements with the order
  8. High level of customer service
  9. Management of quality control and accuracy of orders
  10. Accurate comparison of the invoice to the physical stock
  11. Ensure the correct orders are picked timeously
  12. Quality control of stock handling
  13. Management of employees in your department
  14. Recruit new staff when needed
  15. Attendance and timekeeping
  16. Disciplinary
  17. Performance Reviews
Ideal Candidate Profile
  1. Grade 12 or equivalent
  2. Relevant diploma / degree in logistics and / or operations is preferred
  3. 3+ years retail / logistics experience
  4. Warehouse Management System experience
  5. Computer Literate – Word, Excel, Outlook & Google Sheets
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
