Location: Gauteng, Ekurhuleni Metro, Germiston

Job Type: 6 month Contract, Full-Time hours

Brief description of the project: The Project Manager will establish a project governance capability at the client. Furthermore, the PM will be responsible for managing several small/medium infrastructure projects for the client. This will entail initiating, planning, monitoring and control, and closing the projects.

Job Duties:

1. Plan and oversee projects from start to finish
2. Coordinate resources, equipment, and personnel
3. Monitor project progress and ensure deadlines are met
4. Manage budget and expenses for each project
5. Communicate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders
6. Ensure compliance with building codes and health & safety regulations
7. Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the project

Education: Matric, Relevant Diploma

Experience: Minimum of 5 years Project Management Experience in the construction/build environment

Knowledge and Skills:

1. Knowledge of building codes and regulations
2. Strong project management skills
3. Proficiency in project management software
4. Ability to work well under pressure
5. Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry
6. Strong understanding of construction processes and techniques
7. Excellent leadership and communication skills
8. Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
