Job description

The successful candidate must demonstrate experience in executing technically complex projects, with excellent management, leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills, along with a relentless drive to meet customer commitments.

The role requires managing multiple projects under pressure, delivering within schedule, budget, and scope constraints.

Your role

• Ensure profitable execution of all allocated projects and contracts within schedule, budget, and scope constraints.
• Execute projects and customer contracts in accordance with the SGD Management System.
• Develop and maintain detailed project management documentation.
• Keep all stakeholders informed of project status through effective communication (steering committees, reports, meetings).
• Support marketing and bids, coordinating the generation of operations data packs (schedule, costing, statement of work) per the SGD Management System.
• Maintain excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as the SGD point of contact for contract matters.
• Participate in technical project execution, working with technical teams to ensure effective implementation.
• Ensure adherence to contractual requirements, company norms, and standards.
• Travel internationally as required.

Your profile

• Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of project management elements ensuring project success. Thorough understanding of Customer Support and MRO operations in the Defence Industry.
• Practical experience: Over 7 years of project management experience in a defence-oriented Customer Support environment preferred. Experience in executing Customer Support Contracts and Projects is advantageous. Financial management within projects. Leading and managing project teams in technical environments. Experience in support strategy formulation and business models is beneficial.
• Skills: Strong drive for customer satisfaction. Focus on profitable support and after-sales business. Excellent planning and execution skills.
• Qualifications: Engineering degree plus suitable project management qualification preferred. PMP certification is advantageous.
