Project Manager – New Stores & Refurbishes

Are you ready to drive retail growth and lead exciting projects? Boxer Superstores Westville is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Property Development team at our Head Office in Westville, Durban. This role is perfect for a dynamic leader who excels in managing new store openings and refurbishments.

What you’ll do:

  • New Stores: Collaborate with architects, contractors, and suppliers to finalise designs; manage construction timelines, costs, and quality; conduct site visits and secure necessary approvals.
  • Refurbishments: Lead projects to revamp existing stores, oversee architectural drawing approvals, manage construction processes, and coordinate with stakeholders for seamless operations.

What we’re looking for:

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and Microsoft Projects, and a strong background in construction management within retail.
  • Experience & Qualifications: Project management certification or equivalent, minimum 5 years’ experience (preferably in retail), familiarity with industry regulations, and a valid driver’s license.
  • Key Competencies: Excellent communication, analytical skills, flexibility, and a proven ability to manage multiple priorities while building strong relationships.
