Who We're Looking For :

We seek a dynamic Project Manager reporting directly to the CEO. The role involves managing seasonal and one-off projects, ensuring high standards across our facilities. Responsibilities include coordinating with stakeholders and contractors, overseeing logistics, and executing project details with precision. A passion for hospitality, excellent time management, and experience managing large-scale projects across multiple locations are essential. Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and permitting is required. Minimum Requirements :
  • 5-8 years of project management experience, particularly in construction.
  • Proven success in managing projects from inception to completion, including budgeting and cost control.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and multitasking skills to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities to manage teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in project management software and MS Office.
  • Experience managing projects with budgets of at least R 20 million.
  • Ability to update stakeholders on project progress and support team members.
Skills and Qualifications :
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant fields (construction management, civil engineering, architecture).
  • Strong project management skills and software proficiency.
  • Knowledge of asset management principles.
  • Technical proficiency in relevant software and tools.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, manage risks, and ensure adherence to policies.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to define scope and requirements.
  • Manage asset-related projects, maintain asset data, and report on performance.
  • Develop and oversee project budgets, control costs, and negotiate contracts.
  • Create and monitor project schedules, manage delays, and ensure timely completion.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, including subcontractors and site staff.
  • Ensure quality standards through inspections and audits.
  • Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor project risks.
  • Communicate progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders and manage expectations.
  • Handle contract management, including variations and compliance.
