Job summary

Teraco in Cape Town is seeking an operations-focused professional to implement standards, maintain capacity planning, and collaborate with vendors to ensure service levels align with ISO and TIA guidelines.

You will work across Teraco's business units, maintaining cabling and design systems records, and drive optimization of hardware and software to meet business targets. You will apply project management principles to internal and external initiatives, including large capex projects.

Responsibilities

• Implement defined standards; policies and procedures in line with TIA, ISO methodologies.
• Maintain a comprehensive capacity plan for Teraco including power, space and cooling.
• Collaborate with 3rd party vendors to ensure service levels are met and stay informed of latest market changes and improvements in the data centre segment.
• Respond to miscellaneous duties as directed by management.
• Interact with all areas of the Teraco business.
• Maintain record keeping for cabling and design systems.
• Assist in ensuring consistent optimization of all systems (hardware & software) to achieve business targets.
• Apply project management principles for all internal and external projects.
• Project manage large capex projects for Teraco.

• Work with 3rd party vendors and suppliers to ensure acceptable service levels are met and necessary services are performed, and to be informed of latest changes and improvements in the data centre market segment
