Who We're Looking For :

The Village N life is looking for a dynamic Project Manager, you will report directly to our CEO, managing daily, seasonal and once off projects meeting and enforcing the high standards we set for our facilities. Your role will involve coordinating with different departments, overseeing project logistics, and creating an environment where every detail is expertly executed. With a passion for hospitality, while showing a high-level of skill regarding time management and large-scale project management across various locations you are guaranteed to be stimulated and challenge every second of the day. You’ll have strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and the permitting process. Minimum Requirements :

  • A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in project management, specifically within the hospitality industry, with a strong understanding of hotel operations and construction.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing hotel projects from start to finish, including experience with budgeting, financial planning, and cost control.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively manage teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and report to senior executives.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work flexible hours as required.
  • A bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
  • Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Opera experience is highly beneficial.
  • Project management of similar projects, at least R 10- 50 million.
  • Senior level facility management
  • Expert knowledge of OHASA.
  • Update relevant stakeholders or team members on the project progress.
  • Coach and support project team members with tasks you assign them.
