Hire Resolve seeks a Project Leader - Architect in Cape Town to lead architectural projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction. You will coordinate with consultants and contractors, manage contracts (JBCC/NEC), and ensure accurate documentation and financial oversight.

The role requires a degree in architecture, 5+ years in construction, and strong problem-solving, communication, and ethical standards.

Description

Looking for a challenging and rewarding role in Cape Town? Hire Resolve is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Project Leader - Architect to join our client's team in the Construction Industry. As a Project Leader, you will be responsible for leading and managing architectural projects from conception to completion, ensuring successful delivery and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Meeting deadlines
• Ensuring all documentation is filed correctly
• Managing consultants appointments and performances
• Managing contractors appointments and performances
• Complying with all processes and protocols
• Management of Contracts, including JBCC and NEC
• Reviews of invoices
• Review of appointments, additional fees, and any other related matters
• Making sure Auditor General audits are successfully completed

DELIVERABLES:

• Needs to be accurate, precise, and correct
• Completed according to timelines

KEY DECISIONS THIS POSITION MAKES:

• Escalate problems on projects timeously
• Ensuring the integrity of data collected, collated, and submitted
• Operational Decisions related to work responsibilities
• Ensuring adherence with programme and budget.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of CIDB, PROCSA, fee Scales, consultants appointments
• Problem solving by analysing and processing information, asking probing questions

Qualifications:

• Degree in Architecture

Experience Required:

• Experience in the construction industry
• Experience in contracts (JBCC and NEC) administration and financial administration
• Experience in Project/Programme Management is a bonus
• Minimum experience 5 years
