Purpose Of The Position

The incumbent is responsible for the effective management, development and maintenance of NWK's technology applications.

The Responsibilities Of The Position Include The Following

1. Effective planning to ensure the timeous availability of data and information
2. High quality service delivery to system users
3. Leading numerous projects
4. Determining output capacity of projects required to meet changing customer demands
5. Creation of timely system software in either Natural / Adabas or the PHP environment

Requirements/ Qualifications

1. At least eight (8) years of relevant technology experience in system development and maintenance
2. A relevant tertiary qualification is preferable
3. Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English
4. Customer oriented approach
5. People management skills, i.e. emotional intelligence, ability to delegate and motivate others
6. Analytical and problem-solving skills
7. Driven to achieve excellence in line with NWK's objectives
8. Integrity, sense of responsible and reliability
9. Good planning skills

Working Conditions

1. This role involves working in an office environment, occasional travel may be required to project sites. Standard working hours are from Monday to Friday, with the possibility of additional hours to meet project deadlines.
