Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience in Automation Engineering.
• Professional registration with ECSA will be advantageous.
• Completed at least 2 projects in Automation.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical lead for all engineering activities.
• Ensure efficient and cost-effective execution of engineering tasks.
• Coach and mentor young engineers and technicians.

Job description

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as the technical lead for all engineering activities in assignments.
Each day, you will ensure the activities related to all engineering disciplines within the project are executed in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
You will also showcase your expertise by acting as a design authority for a particular engineering discipline and completing the corresponding engineering assignments.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• BSc or Bachelor of Technology Degree in Electrical/Light Current Engineering.
• 8+ years’ experience in the field of Automation Engineering with extensive C&I experience in Power Generation & Water industry.
• 800xA and Symphony Plus will be advantageous.
• Designing & Commissioning of HMIHSIDCS systems.
• Cyber Security Implementation for IndustrialNetwork Systems.
• Industrial Network configuration and design.
• Professional registration with ECSA will be advantageous.
• Coaching and mentoring of young engineers and technicians.
• Ability to understand and solve automation issues by fault finding.
• Root Cause Analysis.
• Responsible for a Project team of 2 to 4 Engineers.
• Completed at least 2 projects in Automation.
